Montroy Bowling Benefit Sunday


The No-Tap Bowling Tournament at the Ogdensburg Bowl on Sunday, Sept. 6 is to benefit Mark Montroy, who was recently diagnosed with cancer is filling up fast.

Currently there are nine openings for the 1 p.m. shift and none for the 4 p.m. shift. Cost is $75 per five person team. Please contact the Ogdensburg Bowl at 393-9704 to sign up

There will be a Chinese Auction, 50/50 raffles and food/snacks. Come show your support for Mark!


A meeting will be held on Monday, September 15 at 6 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Bowl for anyone wishing to bowl or enter a team in the Maple Leaf Bowling League.

The league starts September 22nd, at 6 p.m. The league bowls 30 weeks and ends with a steak dinner banquet and cash prizes.

The Mixed Suburban League at the Ogd Bowl will be having a meeting on Friday, September 5th at 6:00 p.m. At least one member from each team should be there. If you cannot make it but still are bowling you can leave me a message at 528-1925.


The Seaway Bowling League will begin play on September 11 with a 6:30 p.m. start time.

Any new teams or bowlers wishing to join this league are asked contact Vern Williams at 393-1445, Kris Murdock at 393-9112 or Ty Smith at Ogdensburg Bowl at 393-9704.


The Early Bird Bowling League will begin on September 10 at the Ogdensburg Bowl, 1121 Patterson Street. Bowlers will meet at 9 a.m. sharp for a quick meeting. New bowlers are welcome.

The His and Hers Bowling League will begin action at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, September 20.

There will be brief meeting before so get there a little early.

If interested in bowling in an easy going, couples league please contact Ty or Chris Smith at the Ogdensburg Bowl 393-9704.

Teams consist of two men and two women and the league runs 30 weeks.
