Dyeing with ice and rust will be taught by Virginia Burnett, Winthrop, in a class hosted by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in room 229, Downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St., Potsdam. Students need to bring basic supplies like rubber gloves. The cost of $22 includes fabric. Discounted rates are available for SLC Arts members, or those in need of financial assistance.
