Send information about events for Looking Ahead in the Times Currents section at least two weeks in advance. Please include all important information about the event, the name and daytime telephone number of a contact person, and a return e-mail address.

Letters from the People
Letters from the People, published on The Times opinion pages, should be no more than 400 words long. Only letters accompanied by a complete address, telephone number, and return e-mail address will be published. Only letters written directly to The Times will be considered for publication. Engagement announcements are printed every Sunday. Photos of either the bride-to-be or the engaged couple will be accepted. Wedding announcements are printed every Friday. Weddings older than six months will be printed in an abbreviated version without the photo. Anniversary announcements are printed every Saturday. Couples must be married at least 20 years for inclusion on the anniversary page. Photographs will not be used before the 25th wedding anniversary.
